Royal seniors have earned the AP Scholar Award from the College Board. In order to receive this award students must score a 3 or higher on three or more Advanced Placement exams, hoping to receive honors or distinguished awards. RHS will be hosting both the girl's and boy's soccer playoff games. The girls team will play Houston Sterling Thursday @ 7pm and the boys will play Booker T Washington Friday night @ 7:30pm. The Royal FFA Livestock Show is a charitable organization as defined under IRS Code 501 © (3). The aim and purpose of the Chapter is to promote responsibility and leadership skills through the educational work of our FFA Chapter.
The Sale provides FFA exhibitors the opportunity to market their project. Proceeds from the project sale are used to help students further their education and finance future projects.
The livestock show is a world class activity where parents and children come together, sharing the care and responsibilities of a project. RISD will host its 59th Annual FFA Livestock Show, Parade and Sale starting March 26th -March 28th, 2015. Click on the Title to see brochure details.
Royal FFA parade committee announcement. Participants will once again assemble at the intersection of Koomey Road and Hwy 90, north and west of the Brookshire police station on Saturday, March 28th. Sign -In registration begins at 8:00AM. There is no entry fee. The parade will commence promptly at 10:00AM. Trail ride groups will tag-in at “old” Hardtimes BBQ in Pattison, starting at 7:00AM. The parade award ceremony will be held at Royal High School Agricultural Sales Facility at approximately 1:00 pm. Great News! The Royal SkillsUSA Chapter was represented very well at this weekends District 9 Contest at San Jacinto Jr. College in Pasadena, Texas. Once all the dust settled, Royal came away with many medals and trophies! This year, Royal SkillsUSA will be advancing a total of 24 members to the State Competition in Corpus Christi, March 26th-28th.
